Face search is different from exact reverse image search

An exact reverse image engine looks for the same file, resized copies, or pages containing that picture. PornByPhoto does not crawl the web for duplicate files. It uses the face visible in the upload to find visually related indexed results, even when their source images are different.

That makes this page useful when the original file cannot be found but the face is clear enough to compare. It does not provide the source URL of an uploaded picture or prove that a returned result depicts the same person.

Prepare a screenshot before searching

Pause the video on a frame with minimal motion blur, save or copy the screenshot, and crop around one face. Remove player controls, captions, borders, and other people when possible. You can paste the image directly with Ctrl+V or use the file picker.

If the face is small, capture the frame at the highest playback quality available before cropping. Enlarging a tiny compressed face after capture cannot restore detail that was never present.

Getting clean results

Image search quality tracks photo quality. For the best matches:

• Upload a sharp, front-facing photo.
• Keep the face well lit and clearly visible.
• Avoid filters, masks, and extreme angles.
• Use one face per image.

What to try when results are weak

Run a second search with a different frame rather than repeatedly uploading the same blurred crop. A neutral expression, even lighting, and a mild angle usually provide a more stable comparison than a dramatic close-up.

Review several results because the first candidate is only the nearest indexed match. If every candidate looks distant, the face may not be represented clearly in the current index.
